Lito Gruet Who Was an Actor and a Fashion Model in the 1980's Tells His Story

Post by Lito Gruet:

SHABU SESSIONS WITH PBA PLAYERS AND A BOXER! 😎

Among the many, many personalities I "jammed" with in my 16 year CAREER as a drug user I recall finding myself in the Sta Ana area in a small time drug pushers house in the slums.

While waiting for my "order"... a mestizo negro came in and sat by me as he too waited for his "order".

He looked awfully familiar but I couldn't just recall who he was... when he left I asked my friendly neighborhood pusher who the "import" was.

He was an EX-PRO BOXER with the initials M.E.!

New York St, Cubao... in another "friendly neighborhood pushers" home near a church...

I was one of the several "uninvited" thick-faced guests of the tenant, hanging out there waiting for a free load.

3 "expected" very TALL guests dropped in. Unmistakably I recognized them, (being a basketball addict myself), and befriended them... specially the "bisaya" one.

They were PBA players and the one I befriended played for a very popular PBA team and also had a brother playing in the league for another team...

Apparently their professional careers did not last long.

HOW COULD IT with this kind of lifestyle?

DRUG ABUSE doesn't choose it's victims... they come from ALL walks of life!

DRUG ABUSE IS ... LIFE ABUSE! ❌

Cho Ursal Gab Thanks for sharing, Lits! I still hope that those who until now are in the 'abyss of darkness' can still be healed/cured... all they need to do is to come forward and seek help because there's still a beautiful life waiting for those who are willing... I hope testimonies like yours may inspire others too.
